Henley Fours & Eights is scheduled to take place on
Saturday 17th February 2024.

Having cancelled early we have been able to avoid the majority of our costs and refunds of 100% have been processed. (12/2/24)
NOTICES:
(10/2/24) We are sorry to advise that Henley Fours & Eights Head 2024 is cancelled. We are currently on Red boards and the land is once again waterlogged, with flooding over the towpath in places. With more rain forecast in the coming week this situation is unlikely to improve sufficiently for us to run our event. We hope you will appreciate early cancellation and that not too many trailers will have been loaded.
We know how disappointing this is for all of you wanting to race, as it is for us of course. We had hoped that with a little luck we might manage it but the 50mm plus of rain which has fallen since Wed this week, on already saturated land, has certainly not helped.
We would sincerely like to thank all the dozens of Officials and Volunteers who had kindly offered their time and efforts to make our event a success.
We hope to see you all again next Head Racing season!

For your information Day tickets are still being piloted by BR and only at specific competitions. Henley 4s & 8s is not one of those competitions so day tickets are not an option.

Boating times, please keep raft area clear! - adhere to these times and it will help your day to run smoothly :).
Results - see results page for links to live times
We will publish "live times" via the website during the day (so do bring your smart phone...). I would stress that these are PROVISIONAL and subject to correction and handicapping may not yet have been done.
Final results will, as ever, be posted following the conclusion of racing.
Trailers:
Please be aware that we only have access to regatta land on the day of our event. Gates open at 7:30 am. Please do NOT arrive before this.
This also applies to Leander's Car park which is the property of HRR.
We are grateful for the support of the Stewards of Henley Royal Regatta and ask for your cooperation to help us maintain this.
Car Parking
We strongly encourage competitors and spectators to Car Share to minimise vehicles on site. There will be a £10/charge for parking (Towing vehicles, Coaches/Minibuses exempted). Please do bring cash for this (towing vehicles and minibuses are exempt). All vehicles are parked at the owner's own risk. We cannot accept responsibilty for damage or loss of property on site.
Gazebos:
Please also note that visitors to/competitors at our event are not permitted to erect any gazebos or little tents on HRR land. Neither should any private BBQs be lit on site. (We do have a refreshment tent.)
Bicycles:
Coaches and cyclists please be considerate of all other towpath users. No cycling in the enclosures and be aware that much of our towpath is fenced and narrow.
Photographs:
Please would photographers register their attendance with us. Let us know in advance and we can share a link on our website. We are pleased to see you and hope competitors will enjoy having your pictures available.
